A warm, mostly overcast day, +23° C. Been to Virginia Water. Mushrooms: none.
Saw this bronze fly, probably a stratiomyid:
Upd: it is a syrphid Riponnensia splendens, ID by Tristram (diptera.info):

Metopia campestris (ID by Theo Zeegers, diptera.info) sarcophagids were on and around Rhododendrons, for some reason:

A sunny morning that became a drab late afternoon, +21° C. Been to Virginia Water.
The only insect I managed to shoot is this Xylota segnis hoverfly:

The main goal was mushrooms, though — and it was achieved!
Lots of fungi around.
