Zhukovsky

Been to Zhukovsky on 12-13th of May, the warmest nights in sight. +20° С during the day.

Walked in the city park on friday, saw an Orange-Tip (Anthocharis cardamines):

Night catch was ridiculous: very windy and rainy, only got one Mompha sturnipennella which refused to pose and probably the tiniest Lime Hawkmoth (Mimas tiliae) I’ve ever seen, with a wingspan of ~5 cm:
