Ashtead Common

A warm, mostly sunny day, +21° C. Been to Ashtead.

Rhagium mordax longhorn beetle:

Lots of Cauchas rufimitrella longhorn moths on Greater Stitchwort flowers, but very locally:

Both species of Cardinal beetles were present and quite common, but only got a good shot of the Red-headed one (Pyrochroa serraticornis):

Xysticus ulmi crab spider is so voracious, it even eats ladybirds!
